yes, in fact..
when my parents sold the house, I had to clean out my room. In what turned out to be a cathartic experience, I threw away all letters from old girlfriends, deciding the non-christian they sent those letters to was no longer me. even though that was a while ago, reflecting on that thought is still a big help to me.
